“As adults age, it is important to ensure that they not only live longer, but that their lives are fulfilling and lived in dignity with as much independence as possible, no matter what their size.”
Through the research of long term living care, design for the aging, and bariatric design for healthcare facilities, this project explores the possibilities of how to liberate the elderly who are clinically obese. This space accommodates their needs for assistance in their daily activities and encourages a lifestyle that will improve their daily living through monitored diet and exercise.
